One of the most popular projects we worked on, “HU: The God Sound” saw its modern-day update in 2020. Although the previous design was stable and well-loved by its users, the constant flood of iOS and Android screen sizes required us to revisit the application. For this update, we replaced our separate native codebases with one Flutter project that could run on both platforms, and saw significant improvements in performance and developer productivity.

Loved by our clients since 2012, this year saw the Flutter rewrite of our Consuite platform. Consuite allows conferences, conventions, and events to have their own branded presences on the App Store and Google Play. Event organizers can configure the data to show in the app manually, or drive the content from their existing Content Management Solution (ex, WordPress). Our Flutter rewrite helped us with the stability of the application on new devices and provide user interfaces more accurate to the design assets from our clients.

 

Rakuten Mobileあんしんリモートサポート (February 2018)

For this app, we helped the client make a workable MVP from their old Android, JavaScript-based codebase, then re-architected the entire application to be a viable product for Rakuten Mobile — one of Japan’s largest cell phone service providers. As a customer service application, this program allows users to connect to operators directly through the app, and provides in-app text chat for times when live operators are not available to take calls.
