CITRIX WORXMAIL (APRIL 2013)

Platforms: iOS (Native)

Key Technologies: Video Manipulation, Streaming Data, Objective-C++

Client: Citrix

  • Our Contributions: User Interface Development, Exchange Calendar Server Integration

For this project, we helped Citrix build their secure e-mail client for their Mobile Device Management application suite. We were responsible for overall user interface brush-up and the complete development of the calendar and contact book features (from custom UI component development to integration with Microsoft Exchange server).

Language Links (September 2012)

Platforms: iOS (Native), iPadOS (Native)

Key Technologies: Core Animation, AVFoundation, Localization

Client: Language Links

  • Our Contributions: App Architecture, User Interface Development, User Interface Design, Brand Design

For this app, we helped an independent educator expand her business by building a game for English speakers to use to help them learn Spanish (or vice versa!). In addition to creating the application from scratch, we also helped the client develop a new branding image.

Antengo Mobile Classifieds (July 2012)

Platforms: iOS (Native)

Key Technologies: Core Location, Core Data, Facebook Integration, Twitter Integration

Client: Antengo

  • Our Contributions: App Architecture, User Interface Development, Vendor Management

Our first #1 app (the #1 iPad education app at its launch)! For this project, we partnered with an Autism expert to build an app for helping people with learning disabilities gain more autonomy. Through Video Scheduler, parents and educators could record step-by-step video tutorials for teaching basic life skills, modify them to fit the user’s developmental limits, and share them online with other users.

VerizoN InDYCAR RACING (March 2012)

Platforms: iOS (Hybrid), Android (Hybird)

Key Technologies: Sencha Touch, Adobe Cordova, Local Storage, Video Streaming

Client: QuickPlay Media

  • Our Contributions: User Interface Development, HTML5 Feature Development, App Store Deployment Support

For this exciting project, we helped QuickPlay release their cross-platform second-screen application for the Verizon IndyCar Racing series. This app allowed Verizon subscribers to watch live video of the race, as well as access live leaderboards and supplemental information on drivers. Being a JavaScript-based app, we helped tackle many performance and UI challenges to make the app work as smoothly as one written in native code. It is still available today as the “NTT Data IndyCar Racing” app.

VIbOP (February 2012)

Platforms: iOS (Native)

Key Technologies: Video Manipulation, Streaming Data, Objective-C++

Client: NewBlueFX

  • Our Contributions: User Interface Development, Codec Debugging, Vendor Management, App Store Release

For this app, we helped a Video Plugin developer make their offshore-developed application ready for the app store. Beginning with user interface improvement, we moved on to tackle low-level bugfixes (Objective-C++) and the final adjustments required to keep the app compliant with App Store guidelines.
